FAQ

We plan to hold our wedding ceremony at a location that does not have a piano. Will you still be willing to be our wedding pianist?
Certainly. I’ve played outdoor weddings where an acoustic piano is not accessible. You could contact your local piano retailer and inquire about renting a full-size keyboard (with sustain pedal) and an external speaker. You could also ask friends or family who might have one in their home or church if you could borrow it for the rehearsal and wedding day itself. (Don’t forget to bring extension cords if needed!)
What exactly is this ‘personalized wedding service program’ you offer?
Great question. I specialize in customizing your wedding music to include musical selections that reflect the personality of you and your fiancee. If the traditional Bridal March by Mendelssohn just doesn’t fit your taste (or your pace down the aisle), I offer a wide selection of pieces that would better suit not only your personal style, but the mood you want to create.
Remember – it’s YOUR wedding; and the wedding music should reflect YOUR style!
How much do you charge for this service?
Thanks for asking. My service charge is $225 for weddings within the Greater Cincinnati area, including Northern Kentucky. For more details on what every bridal couple receives with this reasonable rate, please visit the Fee page by clicking here. Gratuities are not expected, but certainly appreciated!
Would you be willing to play for our wedding located outside of the Greater Cincinnati area?
It would be my pleasure to serve you as YOUR wedding pianist even if your wedding is located out of the Greater Cincinnati Area, pending my availability. In addition to the service charge of $225, expenses involved for travel (and if needed, accommodation) will also be assessed. These additional charges are determined by the location of your wedding. Please contact me for more details or to discuss your wedding plans. I’ll be glad to help!
How best do we contact you?
The best way to contact me would be through the contact page I have provided on this website. Please click this link to visit the Contact page. I am prompt in my replies and will always do my best to reply within 24 hours of your contacting me. Please leave me a brief message and let me know how best I can contact you in return.
How far ahead should we contact you to hire you as our wedding pianist? Do you charge a booking fee?
The sooner, the better! As a general rule of thumb, you should contact your wedding musicians about 6-9 months ahead of your wedding date, especially if your wedding takes place in the Spring or Summer. If you do indeed require my services at a short notice, I won’t slap your hand. Just email me – and if I’m available, I’ll be there! As your wedding pianist, I do not charge a booking fee; but advanced notice is certainly appreciated!
We plan to have a friend of ours sing at our wedding. Would you be willing to accompany them on the piano?
It would be my pleasure! I will be glad to work with guest vocalists or instrumentalists you might be requesting to provide music at your wedding. I will be glad to rehearse with these musicians at your wedding rehearsal for no extra charge. If however rehearsals are required on any other time than the wedding rehearsal day, a nominal fee as well as a travel fee will be assessed.
